In loving memory of Cheryl Lou Wright

Cheryl passed away at her home January 7, 2023 in Fort St. John, British Columbia at the age of 64.

She was born August 12, 1958 in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Cheryl is survived by her husband Richard Stairs, her three children Marie (Jody) Hanson, John Wright (Ryan), Sarah (Dustin) Neil,

her seven cherished grand children Abigail, Logan, Kimberlee, Taylor, Ava, Emily and Leanne, her brother Donald Love (Joan),

her sister Diane (John) O’Grady, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cheryl is predeceased by her parents Lewis and Eileen (Leslie) Love and her dear Aunt Audrey Leslie.

Cheryl truly enjoyed baking and spending time with friends and family. No one ever left Cheryl’s table without a smile and a full belly.

The teapot was always on and a sweet treat could always be found. Her door was always open, she was “Mama” to many.

For the past 10 years Cheryl has worked at Kelly’s Convenience with her dear friends Jenny and Lynn Kelly.

She truly enjoyed her time there and the friendships built with her regulars.

She will truly be missed by many.

There will be a Visitation held January 16, 2023 from 3:00-4:00 pm at

Hamre’s Funeral Chapel, Fort St. John B.C.

A celebration of life will be held in New Brunswick at a later date.
