Obituary of Sherry Marie Gladue

Sherry Marie Gladue

November 21, 1976 - March 18, 2024

It’s with heavy hearts that we announce that Sherry, 47, of the Gladue/Campbell family, passed away on March 18, 2024 at the Prince George Hospital.

Sherry was the last born among four kids to Sylvia Louise Gladue and Duncan Campbell. She was a very passionate one throughout her whole life, but at the end of the day she was still just a little girl who wanted her mom.

As Sherry grew up she started a family of her own when she had her eldest daughter Kate-Lynn, a couple years later, Tyler, at this point there was a small break where she let herself heal while still being grateful and taking time to love the little family she started. 4 years after Brandon was born and then there were 3.

These years Sherry's mom Sylvia really helped out because when they say it takes a village they really mean it, there were no complaints though, the kids loved the time they had with cookum growing up, and so did Sherry. Flash forward another 6 years and there came Alexis-Dawn, after Sherry knew she was done having kids due to the girls of the family being particular pains to deliver. Sherry was a stay at home mom for a while and a pretty good one at that, she spent lots of time with family, her friends, riding bikes… something Sherry was passionate about was Harleys, no matter how far the trip she loved riding anytime, anywhere. She didn’t just love the bike but the community she has met within that and I know she was forever grateful for them.

Sherry was a complex woman but the way she appreciated her interests was never a question at all. She loved music, there weren't a lot of moments in her house when she didn’t have a song playing, I don’t think a lot of us realized it but it was such a privilege to hear Sherry sing because she didn’t just sing the words as they were written she sang them how she felt them. A complex woman but also one of the most beautifully emotional people you could have met. Thank you for being the woman you were Sherry, the world wasn’t ready for you.

Sherry will be welcomed by her parents Sylvia Louise and Duncan Campbell, her Brother Ernest Gladue, her Grandson James, and many more loved ones, and will be missed by her children Kate-Lynn, Tyler, Brandon, and Alexis-Dawn, her sister Melva Gladue, her brothers Harvey and Earl Gladue, her nephew Andrew, her nieces Flora, Araya and Taiya, and her granddaughter Sylvie-Louise, and will be missed by many more friends and family.

we love you Sherry!
