Morris's journey began in Toronto, but it was the call of the west that beckoned him. He ventured to the prairies, where he found solace and purpose on a farm. It was there that he cultivated a deep connection to the land and the simple pleasures of life. As fate would have it, his journey continued westward, leading him to Quesnel, where he met the love of his life, Niki. Their bond was unbreakable, and together they faced the trials and triumphs that life presented.

In the midst of their happiness, Morris received the devastating news of his battle with cancer. Despite the challenges that lay ahead, Morris and Niki remained steadfast in their love and support for each other. Their journey took them to the Okanagan, then to Cassiar, before finally settling in the Peace Country, where they built a life filled with cherished memories and enduring love.

Morris was a dedicated worker, having contributed his skills and expertise to various endeavors, including his time at Finning Tractor and several highway maintenance companies such as Northland Road Services, Yellowhead Road & Bridge, and Dawson Road Maintenance. His strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his family were evident in every task he undertook.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Morris found solace in the great outdoors. An avid hunter and a lover of fishing, he found peace and fulfillment in the natural world. His passion for these activities was only surpassed by his love for his family. Morris's devotion to his wife, Niki, and his children, Douglas, Donnie, and Michelle (Kevin), was unwavering. His pride and joy extended to his granddaughter, Ashley, and great-grandchildren, Faith, Hope, Zachary, and Jordan. His bond with his sister, Anne, was a source of comfort and support throughout his life.

Morris's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him. His warmth, humor, and unwavering love will be deeply missed. His legacy of resilience and love will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

In honor of Morris's memory, the family has suggested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the local cancer society. This gesture reflects Morris's enduring spirit and his desire to support others who may be facing similar challenges.

Morris Kapacila's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and unwavering strength. His memory will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to have known him. May he rest in peace, knowing that his legacy will continue to inspire and uplift those who carry his memory in their hearts.
